NOTE: The Cutter, Self-Strip and Ribbon Saver options require that the appropriate options be installed to operate correctly.

Print Intensity

This option specifies the level of thermal energy from the printhead to be used for the type of paper and ribbon being used.

Larger numbers imply more heat (thermal energy) to be applied for each dot. This has a significant effect on print quality. The print intensity and speed must match the paper and ribbon type to obtain the best possible print quality and bar code grades.

Print Speed

This option specifies the speed at which the paper will pass through the printer. This parameter has a significant effect on print quality (refer to ªPrint Intensityº).

Gap Sensor

This option specifies whether either of the label gap sensors are enabled or disabled.

Ribbon Saver

This option specifies whether the Ribbon Saver feature (when available) is enabled or disabled.

Ppr Feed Shift

This menu represents the distance to advance a label when the tearoff, cutter or Automatic Label Peel-Off Dispenser options are selected.
