Media Loading

The following procedures describe loading of the various media.

NOTE: The optional internal rewinder and rewind bracket are shown on all media loading drawings.

Roll-Fed

To install roll-fed media, perform the following steps.

1.Open the media supply door.

2.Slide a roll of the chosen media onto the media hub assembly, as far as possible toward the inside of the printer as shown in Figure 2±5.

3.Raise the printhead latch wing, and rotate it counterclockwise one half-turn to unlock the printhead. Swing the printhead to the raised position as shown in Figure 2±5 and Figure 2±6.

4.Route the media under the bouncer assembly and between the upper and lower media guides, as shown in Figure 2±7.

5.Continue feeding the media under the printhead until the media exits the printhead assembly.
