Optional Media Rewind Hub

The printer can be equipped with a rewind hub that will automatically roll up the label media for convenient handling. The hub is used in the following cases:

When large quantities of labels must be printed as single batches for later use

When the automatic label peel-off dispenser option is used, to roll up the used media backing after labels have been peeled off

To use the media rewind hub, perform the following steps.

1.Open the media supply door.

2.Ensure that the rewind bracket is installed (as shown in Figure 2±9).

3.Install a roll of the desired label media, following the above procedures, and pull the media through the printer until approximately 18 inches is free in front of the unit.

4.Loosen the thumbscrew, and remove the media retainer from the rewind shaft as shown in Figure 2±10.
