printed so poorly that the
validator cannot detect it.
1. Checkthat paperand
ribbon are clean,
unwrinkled, and
installedcorrectly.
2. Runa print job and
check that the validator
beam is not obstructed;
remove obstructions as
necessary.
3. Runa print job and
check that the READ
LED flashes as bar
codes exit the printer. If
theREAD LED doe sn ot
flash, cycle power and
run the job again. If the
READ LED does not
flash,inspect the cables
and the cable
connections. If the
cables are undamaged
andthe c onnections are
good, replace the
validator.
4. PressPAU SE to clear
the message.
5. Inthe VALIDATOR
menu, press ↓until
“Clear Data”displays,
then press ↵.
