Number Tab–Numbers can represent currency, a date, a percentage, and so on. The Category: drop-down menu allows you to choose what the number in a spreadsheet represents. For example, choose Currency for monetary units. Other categories have options attached to them. For example, tapping on Time in the Category: drop-down menu displays a secondary win- dow–Type–where you can choose how you want time represented in

the spreadsheet.
