Steady illumination indicates that the switch is in maintenance mode, which returns the switch IP address to 10.0.0.1. From maintenance mode, you may reload firmware, reset the password to the factory default, and remove a corrupt configuration.

Internal Firmware Failure Blink Pattern

An internal firmware failure blink pattern is 2 blinks per second followed by a two second pause. The 2-blink error pattern indicates that the firmware has failed, and that the switch must be reset. Power cycle the switch to reset it.
