3.Press 4 or 3 on the mode select dial to highlight Gain Up.

4.Press 5 or 6 on the mode select dial to select A , OFF, or AGC.

Select A to have the shutter speed automatically adjusted from 1/30 to 1/60 second.

Notes: Shooting a subject in low or poor lighting at 1/30 second shutter speed provides a brighter image than in the AGC mode, but the subject’s movements are not as smooth or natural.

When the LIGHT OFF/AUTO/ON switch is in ON or AUTO, the A is disabled.

Select OFF when lighting is not a problem.

Select AGC to have recording appear brighter and movements more natural and smooth than when recording in the auto (A ) mode. However, the overall appearance may be “jagged”.

5.Press MENU to exit the menu.
