11Time Remaining Display

The approximate time remaining on the tape is automatically displayed here. The correct TAPE LENGTH must be set in the recording menu. Details are on page 47.

13Self-Timer, Animation, and Time- Lapse Indicators

The interval time selected for self- timer or time-lapse recording ( 15S, 30S, 1min, 5min) appears here. Details are on pages 60-61 and 64-65.

The rec time selected for animation

or time-lapse recording ( 1/4S, 1/2S, 1S, or 5S) appears here. Details are on pages 62-65.

14Electronic Image Stabilizer ( )

This indicator appears when the electronic image stabilizer is turned on with the EIS button.

15Warnings and Information

LENS COVER: When you turn on the camcorder, this indicator briefly flashes to remind you to open the lens cover.

LENS COVER: This indicator may flash when the camcorder is used in dark areas — even if the lens cover is open.

AUTO PAUSE appears when the auto pause feature is turned on with the AUTO PAUSE ON/OFF button. Details are on page 43.

INDEX appears when an index mark is being made on the tape. Details are on page 43.

TAPE END appears when the end of the tape is reached during recording or a cassette is inserted with its tape already at the end.
