Metering( ) / Down() button
When the menu is displayed on the LCD monitor, pressing the DOWN() button makes the cursor shift to down or changes the sub menu.
When the menu is not displayed on the LCD monitor, the DOWN() button operates as the METERING( ) button.
This button can be used to obtain the right exposure.
Selecting the metering mode
1. Rotate the mode dial to the STILL IMAGE mode.
2. If the desired metering mode indicator is displayed on the LCD monitor when pressing the METERING button, the function is ready for recording.

INFORMATION
The default metering mode is Multi pattern metering.
The changed metering mode is maintained until the camera power is turned off.
