Installing Serial/LocalTalk or Serial/IrDA option card

Before you install the Serial/LocalTalk or Serial/IrDA option card, follow steps under ‘Preparations’ on page F.2.

Locate the Serial/LocalTalk or Serial/IrDA connector on the printer control board.

Remove the single screw that fastens the metal plate covering the cable connector opening.

Remove the plate.

Insert the Serial/LocalTalk or Serial/IrDA option card into the option card slot.
