Using Automatic Dialing
There are two ways in storing numbers for automatic dialing: One-Touch Dialing and
Speed Dialing. One-Touch Dialing lets you touch any one of five One-Touch buttons
located on the left of the machine’s Control Panel to dial your number automatically.
Speed Dialing allows you to enter two digits to dial a number. To use this feature, follow
these instructions:

Storing a Number for One-Touch Dialing

Press and hold the One
Touch button that you
want to assign.
The LCD momentarily
displays the One-Touch
button number you are
going to assign.
The LCD asks you for a
te!ephone number.

Enter the number you
want to store by using the
Number Keypad.

If there is a number or name
already assigned in the selected One-
Touch button, the number or name is
displayed. If you want to change the
number or name, enter new number or
name over the old. If not, press STOP.

When the number appears
correctly in the LCD, press
ENTER.
The LCD asks you for a
name.

You can enter up to 34 digits into a
One-Touch button. To insert a pause
between digits, press REDIAL/PAUSE;
a "P" appears in the display. This "P"
will cause a few seconds’ pause when
dialing.

If you make a mistake, use
DIRECTION

to move the cursor
to the incorrect digit and enter new one
over it. You can also use INS or DEL
buttons.
