● Swype lets you enter words by swiping across the virtual QWERTY keyboard. Instead of
tapping each key, use your finger to trace over each letter of a word. You can also tap
letters to enter words.
Select a Default Text Input Method
You can select a default Text Input Method from Settings, or choose one at any time while
entering text.
From Settings:
► Press and tap > Language and input > Default.
While entering text:
► From a screen where you can enter text, tap in the Status bar, and then tap an
input method.
Google Voice Typing This feature uses Google voice recognition to convert your spoken words into text.

4. From a screen where you can enter text, tap in the Status bar, and then tap
Google voice typing.
5. Speak into the microphone and watch your text as it is entered onscreen.
6. Tap DELETE if the text is incorrect.
7. Tap when you complete entering your text.
8. Tap the text area to display the onscreen keyboard.
Note: Select a language by tapping the drop-down language menu. Using the Google voice
typing menu, tap Add more languages to assign a new language. Removing the
checkmark from the Automatic field allows you to select additional languages.
