What if I Forget My Pattern? If you forget your lock pattern, you can unlock your device with the backup PIN you set up with
your unlock pattern.
To unlock the tablet using a PIN code:
1. Tap Forgot pattern? (located at the bottom of the screen after five attempts at drawing
your pattern).
2. Tap Type PIN code and enter the backup PIN you set up when you created your lock
pattern.
3. Tap OK.
Use a Screen Unlock PIN
1. Press and tap > > Lock screen > Screen lock.
2. Tap PIN.
3. Enter a PIN, tap Continue, and then enter your PIN again to confirm it and tap OK.
If you fail to enter the correct PIN after five attempts, you will be prompted to wait for 30
seconds before you can try again.
Use a Screen Unlock Password
1. Press and tap > > Lock screen > Screen lock.
2. Tap Password.
3. Enter a password, tap Continue, and then enter your password again to confirm it.
4. Enter the password again to confirm it and tap OK.
Note: If you fail to enter the correct password after five attempts, you will be prompted to wait
for 30 seconds before you can try again.
Disable the Screen Lock
1. Press and tap > > Lock screen > Screen lock.
2. Tap None.
