Advanced Wi-Fi Settings

The advanced Wi-Fi settings allow you to set up and manage wireless access points.

1.Press and tap > > Wi-Fi.

2.Tap > Advanced.

The following options are available:

Network notification: alerts you when a new open network is available.

Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep: allows you to specify when to disconnect from Wi-Fi.

Check for Internet service: automatically checks the Wi-Fi Internet service availability.

Wi-Fi timer: sets a starting and ending time for Wi-Fi service to stay turned on.

MAC address: view your device’s MAC address, required when connecting to some secured networks (not configurable).

IP address: view your device’s IP address.

Bluetooth Settings

Your device’s Bluetooth capabilities let you use wireless headsets to send and receive pictures and files, and more.

1.Press and tap > > Bluetooth.

2.Tap the ON/OFF slider to move it into the ON position to turn Bluetooth on.

3.Tap to access Bluetooth settings

Rename device: allows you to change the name of your device. The device name is how other Bluetooth devices identify your device.

Visible timeout: allows you to choose the length of time your device is visible to other devices, when you enable visibility.

Received files: allows you to view files received via Bluetooth.
