
31.To register fingerprints, click [Fingerprint Registration].

32.Click [Capture] button. When the button is pressed, the red indicator of the fingerprint scanner turns on. Place the finger on the scanner to register the first fingerprint template. Once the red indicator turns off, release your finger and then put the same finger onto the fingerprint scanner again when the light turns on. As shown in the figure, the registered fingerprint is scanned properly if the fingerprint is clear and marked with stars more than 3.
J Once completed with the first fingerprint scanning, release your finger from the scanner and wait until the red indicator turns on before the second fingerprint scanning. If the scanned fingerprint is marked with 1 or 2 stars, try again or use another finger.
33.Click [Apply].
34.Check [Use Biometric Information] to apply the scanned fingerprint in [Fingerprint Management]. You may not select this option for a
35.Move to the [User Defined Field] tab. You can use the User Defined Field if you need to enter additional information.
J To use the User Defined Field, you must have specified necessary items in [Tool] > [Option]. You can create up to 9 user defined fields, to each of which you can specify the use, the input field type and the label name.
36.Move to the [Event and Alarm Status] tab. Use this field if you want to check the event history of card holders.
37.Move to the [Time and Attendance Setting] tab. Use this field if you want to configure the time and attendance settings.
J To enable the time and attendance function, you should have specified necessary settings in advance using the [Time/Attendance] menu in the upper corner. For more information about the time and attendance function, refer to the time and attendance section in this manual.
