Making a PCS Ready Link Call (Group Call)

You can make a PCS Ready Link call to all members in a Group entry in your PCS Ready Link calling list. You can communicate with up to five other Ready Link users at the same time in walkie-talkie-style.

1.From a PCS Ready Link List, scroll to highlight the group you

want to call. Press and hold to start the PCS Ready Link call and get the floor.

To see group members, press twice during step 2 above.

If one of the group members gets the floor, the member’s name and PCS Ready Link number will appear on the display.

2.Continue holding as you speak. When you are finished speaking, release the Ready Link button to allow other contacts to speak. (When the other party takes the floor, you will see the speaker’s name and phone number and the text “has floor.”)

3.When you are finished, press .

Making a PCS Ready Link Call by Entering a Number

1.From standby mode or from the PCS Ready Link List, enter the PCS Ready Link number you want to dial.

A PCS Ready Link number must be 10 digits (or 11 digits beginning with 1). (It is the same as the recipient’s PCS Phone number.)

2.Press and hold to start the PCS Ready Link call and get the floor.

3.Speak after the beep (keep pressing down while you are speaking). After speaking, release the key to listen.

4.When you are finished, press .

Tip: If you press or during step 2 above, you can make a standard voice call.
