Headset Options

Set up your phone for hands-free use. You can enable the Turbo
Button (operation button on your headset) to make, receive, or
end a call, or to activate ASR (see page 66). You can also select
the ringer mode.
To enable the Turbo Button:
1. Press >Settings > More...> Headset Mode >
Turbo Button.
2. Select On.
Press the turbo button to stop the alarm and/or display
the details of message notifications.
(To disable the Turbo Button, follow steps 1 and 2 and
select Off.)
To select the ringermode:
1. Press >Settings > More...> Headset Mode>
RingerSound.
2. Select Normalor Headset Only.

Setting PowerOn to Alert

The alert will not sound when your phone is turned off, but
PowerOn to Alertturns your phone on in Airplane Mode to
alert you even if your phone is turned off. This feature applies
only to schedule or call alarm events, or the alarm clock.
1. Press >Settings > More... >Power On to Alert.
2. Select Onor Off.
Security Settings
All of your phone’s security settings are available through the
Securityor Restrict and Lockmenu.

Accessing the Security Menu

1. Press >Settings > More... > Security.
2. Enter your lock code to display the Security menu.
Tip If you can’t recall your lock code, try using the last four
digits ofyour wireless phone number. If this doesn’t
work, contact your service provider.
