2.2Administration via the InterCon-NetTool

The software InterCon-NetTool has been developed by SEH Computertechnik GmbH for the administration of SEH network devices within a predefined network.

You can configure all features of the TPG60 via the InterCon-NetTool. Detailed information can be found in the corresponding chapters.

The InterCon-NetTool has been designed for use in Windows, Apple Mac OS X, and Linux networks. If you use the InterCon-NetTool in Apple Mac OS X or Linux networks, some functions will notbe available.

In order to use the InterCon-NetTool, the program must be installed on a computer with Windows, Linux, or MacOS operating system.

Different installation files are available, depending on the operating system. You will find the InterCon-NetTool installation files on the product CD and on the Internet at www.seh.de.

Proceed as follows:

1.Start the InterCon-NetTool installation file.

2.Select the desired language.

3.Follow the installation routine.

ªThe InterCon-NetTool is installed on the computer.

To start the program, double-click the InterCon-NetTool icon. The icon is found on the desktop or the start menu (depending on the operating system.)

To exit the program, select File – Exit from the menu bar.

After the InterCon-NetTool has been started, you will see the main dialog with the following elements. The dialog may vary, depending on which elements you have chosen to be shown or hidden.
