Configure Keyboard Settings
To configure the keyboard settings, tap . The following settings are available:
•Keypress sound: Select to adjust the volume level of the clicking sound when a key is touched.
•Keypress vibration: Select to adjust the vibration amplitude level when a key is touched.
•Keypress popup: Select to enable popup effect when a key is touched.
•Alternative symbols: Select to show alternative symbol on buttons.
•Keyboard layout: Select to configure the portrait/ landscape layout and other keyboard layout settings.
•Smart input: Select to enable word prediction, predict new word, correct mistyping,
•Languages: Select to set the keyboard language.
•Chinese Input: Select to set the keyboard settings for Chinese input.
•Handwriting: Select to configure the Chinese handwriting settings.
Edit Text
Select, cut, or copy
To select, cut, or copy an entire text field entry, do the following:
1.Touch and hold the text field box.
2.On the options menu, tap Select word or Select all.
3.From the cursor, swipe your finger across the words that you want to select.
4.Edit the text. To cut or copy the highlighted words, touch and hold the text field box, then touch Cut or Copy.
To select, cut, or copy a word or a portion of text, do the following:
1.Touch the area where you want to place the cursor.
2.Touch and hold the text field box.
3.On the options menu, tap Select word.
4.From the cursor, swipe your finger across the text that you want to select.
5.Edit the text. To cut or copy the highlighted text, touch and hold the text field box, then touch Cut or Copy.
