5.11.84The Instruction "SetVariable"

Description

Use this Function Instruction to save a value in a Variable.

Please bear in mind that the entry assigned here in the argument "Value" must have the same data type as the "Variable" itself (see Section 5.2, "The DCO data types and their value rang- es").

Arguments

Arguments		Description
Variable		Editable combobox to specify the Variable to which you want
		to assign a new value.
		Here you can:
		● enter the name of the Variable direct or
		● select a Variable from the list of all Variables that are avail-
		able.
Value		Editable combobox to specify the value you want to assign to
		the selected Variable.
		Here you can:
		● enter a numeric value or a string,
		● assign a Constant, Parameter or Variable, or
		● assign a Control.
