The Elements of a DCO-Script

General structure

Right underneath the root, the Structure window is divided into

Constants

 

Use the node „Constants“ to create unchanging, constant ele-

 

 

ments.

 

 

These elements remain the same throughout the entire project

 

 

and can be placed any number of times at any places you want

 

 

in your project. Their values can be adjusted centrally in the

 

 

OScAR-Pro Customized Operator.

 

 

 

Parameters

 

Use the node „Parameters“ to create parameterizable ele-

 

 

ments. These elements can be used in the same way as Con-

 

 

stants with the difference that their values can be adjusted

 

 

easily through the Parameter editor of the OScAR-Pro-TT Op-

 

 

erator-Tool.

 

 

 

Variables

 

Use the node „Variables“ to create global place holders that

 

 

can be used for the exchange of information between Frames.

 

 

 

Lists

 

Use the node „Lists“ to create lists of place holders. These el-

 

 

ements will help you to fill the Controls "Listbox" and "Combo-

 

 

box" with data. You can either predefine the individual list en-

 

 

tries in the DCO-Script (same as for Constants) or have them

 

 

filled with data via various OScAR-Pro-TT Operator-Tool com-

 

 

mands.

 

 

 

Frames

 

Use the node „Frames“ to create the Frames that are output on

 

 

the screen and their Controls. During a project, the number of

 

 

Frames that may be created and that the user may move be-

 

 

tween is unrestricted.
