5.8Frames

Use the node "Frames" to create and edit the various screen frames of the visual interface as they are output in the OScAR-Pro-TT Operator-Tool through the DCO-script.

You can create any number of Frames and customize their design individually. Use the Layout window to design the graphic look of the Frames created here.

The Frames themselves are created in the node "Frames". Here, each "Frame" node has the following three child nodes:

"Controls",

"OScAR-Pro command templates", and

"Functions".

The attributes of Frames

Frames have the following attributes:

Combobox to specify the type of the page.

 

 

Here you can:

 

 

select normal to define a normal page or

 

 

select toolbar to define a toolbar page.

 

 

Other than the special attributes described below, toolbar

Name

 

Edit field to enter the name of the Frame. Select a name that

 

 

is recognizable and unique among the other Frame names.

 

 

 

Color

 

Editable combobox to choose the background color of the

 

 

Frame.

 

 

Here you can:

 

 

enter a color value,

 

 

click "Select color" and use the next user window to

 

 

choose a color (see Section 4.6.5, "Edit colors"), or

 

 

assign a Constant, Parameter or Variable of the data type
