4.4.2Mark a Frame area or a Control

Before you can edit a Frame area or a Control, you need to mark the corresponding element (Frame area or Control). For Controls you also have the option to edit several Controls at the same time.

The below table illustrates the different ways in which marked elements are output on the screen using the example of marked and unmarked Buttons:

Not marked

The element is neither marked nor surrounded by an extra

 

frame.

 

 

One Button marked:

If only one Button is marked it is surrounded by a frame with

 

accented edges and squares both at its corner points and in

 

the center of each line.

 

 

More than one Button

If two or more Buttons are marked, each button is surrounded

marked:

by a frame that has accented edges but no squares. The But-

 

ton that has the focus has an additional solid black frame on

 

the inside of the accented frame.

To mark only one element simply make a left mouse click on the element. This will give the el- ement the bounding box.
