This command refers to the GSM supplementary service CLIP (Calling Line Identific ation Presenta-
tion) that enables a called subscriber to get the calling line identity (CLI) of the calling part y when re-
ceiving a mobile terminated call.

AT+CLIP=<n>
Set command enables or disables the presentation of the CLI at the TE. It has no
effect on the execution of the supplementary service CLIP in the net work.

Unsolicited result
code When CLIP is enabled at the TE (and is permitted by the calling subscriber) , an
unsolicited result code is returned after every RING (or +CRING: <type>) at a
mobile terminating call.
Voice call response format:
+CLIP: <number>, <type>,,,,<CLI validity>
Data/FAX call response format:
+CLIP: <number>, <type>

<number> string type phone number of calling address in format specified by
<type>
<type> type of address octet in integer format; 145 when dialling string in-
cludes international access code character “+”, otherwise 129.
<CLI validity>
0 CLI valid
1 CLI has been withheld by the originator.
3 CLI is not available due to interworking problems or limitations
of originating network. <number> shall be an empty string ("")
and <type> value will not be significant.
