Deploying installation packages
Thefollowing tables identify which installation packages you must install and the orderthey must be
installedin for each software installation option.
IM P O R T A N T
lLync client software must be installed andconfigured ont hecomputer that will host
SMARTMeetingPro software with the SMART Meeting Pro connector for Lync enabled,
beforeyou install SMARTMeetingProsoftware.
TheLync client must be Lync2010 full client (asopposed to Lync2010 Attendeeor Lync
WebA pp)with a c onnectionto a Lync Server 2010application.
lIf you’re deployingSMART softw areto computers with Windows XP operatingsys tem, you
must install Windows installer 4.5, which is available from
support.microsoft.com/kb/942288.
lYoumust deployall the installation packagesidentified for a software installation option.
