Notes

The system will turn on 30 seconds before the specified starting time. Do not operate the system from the time the system turns on until the daily timer starts. Otherwise the timer will not be activated correctly.

You cannot use the optional component connected to TAPE IN jack or DIGITAL OPTICAL IN jack as the sound source for Daily Timer.

Before recording with the timer, make sure that you have set the system clock correctly (see “Setting the time” on page 8) and preset the radio station (see “Presetting radio stations” on page 42).

1 Tune in the desired preset radio station (see “Listening to the radio” on page 43).

If you select “ONCE?”, the recording timer activates only once. If you select “DAILY?”, the timer activates at the same time every day. If you select “WEEKLY?”, the timer activates at the same time on the set day of every week.

6 Press ENTER/YES on the remote.

If you select “ONCE?” or “WEEKLY?”, the day indication starts flashing. If you select “DAILY?”, the hour indication starts flashing.
