My speakers are not producing sound
Thebuilt-inspeakersmaybeturnedoff.PressFn+F3to turn on the speake rs.
Thespeaker volume may be turned to the minimum. Press Fn+F4, and then press
Vorbto increasethe volume.
Ifnothing happens after having pressed Fn+F3 or Fn+F4, double-click System in
ControlPanel. Open the Device Mana ger tab and makesure that the sound
device is enabled.
Ifyour computer is powered by battery, check that the batteryis insertedproperly
andthatitischarged.
Ifyo u areusin gan appl ication that has its own volume control, check that the
volume is turned up.
Check the volume controls in Windows®.
Ifyou use external speakers, check that the speakers are properlyc onnectedand
thevolum ei sturned up. If the speakers have a mute button, make sure it is off. If
batteriespower the speakers, check that the batteries are inserted properly and
thatthey are charged.
Ifyou have connected an audio cable to the Headphone connector,d isconnectthe
cable.
I can hear background noise when I play back music
Tryto use the Media Bar software instead of WindowsMedia Player.
My microphone does not work
Ifyou are using an external microphone, check that the micropho ne isplug ged into the
Microphone connector.
