An error message appears when using voice-related software programs

Double-click YamahaDS-XG AudioConfig in Control Panel. Open the Echo tab

anddeselect the Enable check box. Click OK.

Ifyo u are using several voice-related software programs at the same time, clo se

them.

About the modem

My modem (PC card) doesn’t work

Checkthat your PC card is properly inserted into your computer (label side facing

up).

Check thatyour PC card modem has been detected by the system.

Check that the phone line is plugged into your PC ca rd.

Check that the phone line is working. You can check the line by plugging in an

ordinaryphone and listening fora dialtone.

Check that the phone number the program is dialing is correct.

Check that the communication software you are using i s compatible with the PC

card:make sure that the driverselected in your communicationsoftware matches

your PCc ardprogramming (refer to your communication software user manual).

Checkthat your PC card modem responds to AT-commandsby doing a

diagnostics test: Click Start,gotoSettings,clic k on Control Panel, then select

Modems and click the Diagnostics tab. Select the COM One PlatiniumCard
