My computer does not shut down
Itis bes t toshut d own your computer using the Shut Downcommand on the
Window s®Start menu. Using other methods, including those l isted here,m ay result in
loss of unsaved dat a. If the Shut Dow n commanddoes not work properly,followthese
steps:
Restartthe computer by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Deleteandbychoosing Shut Down.
Ifthis does not wo rk, pressthe power button and hold it for at least four seconds,
this turns off the power.
Unplugthe computer from the AC adapter and remove the battery pack from your
computer.
My computer locks up
Tryrestarting the computer. On the Windows taskbar, click the Start button, click
Shut Down and then choose Restart.
Ifyou cannot restart as described in the preceding step, you can restart the
computerby pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete onceandthenclickingShutDowninthe
Task ma nag er of Win dow s.
Ifthe previous step does not work, pressthe power button and hold it for at least
fourseconds. This turns off the power.
Ifyo ur computer locks up while playing a CD-ROM, s top the CD-ROM, and
restartthe computer by pressing C trl+Alt+Delete and choosing Shut Down.
My software program locks up or crashes

referto your Software guide for informationon how to contact them.

that are currently open.
