On Handling the Hard Disk
The hard disk has a high storage density and reads or writes data in a sh ort time. On
theother hand, it may be easily damaged by mechanical vibration, shock or dust. Keep
theharddiskawayfrommagnets.
Although the hard disk h as the safety device i n itself to prevent losing data due to
mechanical vibration, shock or dust, you should be careful when handling your
computer.Toavoid damaging data:
Donot give a shock to your computer.
Donot place your computer ina location subject to mechanicalvibration or in
unstablesituation.
Donot move your computer while the poweris on.
Do not turn off the power or restart the computer while reading or writing data.
Donot useyour computer ina place subject to extreme change of tem perature.
Ift he hard disk is damaged, the data cannot be restored.
Back up data
Asyou may lose important data once your computer is damaged, you should back up
your data regularly.
Restore the original application programs from the ProductRe covery CD-ROM.
