The following operations are described for connecting an IR repeater and operating the receiver in 2nd zone or 3rd zone. When an IR repeater is not connected, use this receiver in the main room.
1 On the remote, press 2ND ZONE or 3RD ZONE.
The remote switches to the 2nd zone or 3rd zone mode.
2 Turn on the main receiver (this receiver).
3 Turn on the amplifier in the 2nd or 3rd zone.
4 Press one of the input buttons
on the remote to select the source signals you want to output.
For the 2nd zone, analog video and audio signals are output. For the 3rd zone, only analog audio signals are output. When you select “SOURCE,” the signals of the current input are output. Refer to page 82 for details.
5 Adjust to a suitable volume.

Tips
•Even when this receiver is turned off, the receiver in the 2nd zone or 3rd zone remains turned on. To turn off all receivers, press ?/1 and AV ?/1 on the
•Only signals from components connected to the analog input jacks are output through the 2ND ZONE OUT or 3RD ZONE OUT jacks. No signals are output from components connected to only the digital input jacks.
•When “SOURCE” is selected, the signals input to the MULTI CH IN jacks are not output from the 2ND ZONE OUT or 3RD ZONE OUT jacks even when MULTI CH IN is selected. The analog audio signals of the current function are output.
