SomeSIM cards are prot ected with a PIN (Personal Identity Number) at the

timeof purchase. If the SIM c ard lock is activated, you have to enter the PIN

everytime you turn on y our phone. If you enter your PIN incorrectly three

timesin a row, the SIM card is blocked.This is indicated by the message

PINBlocked. Unblock?

Ifthis happens you nee d tou nlock it to access your sub-

scription.

Unblocking Your SIM Card

1. PressYES.

2. Enteryour PUK (or PUK2) whi ch you will find in the information from

yournetwork opera tor.

3. Entera new four- to eight-digitPIN (or PIN2).

4. PressYES.

5. Re-enterthe new PIN (orPIN2) to confirm.

6. PressYES.

Note!If you enter the wrong PUK ten time si n a row,your card is perma-

nentlyblocked. If this ha ppens, you should contact your network operator.
