DualBand GSM 900/1800

TheEricsson T10 is a dual ba nd phone, which means that you can use your

phoneon two different kinds ofnetworks – the GSM 9 00 and the GSM 1800

(alsocalled PCN or DC S 1800) systems.

Adual band phone that combines thetwo standards can use both frequencies.

Thisincreas es capacity in densely populated urban areas, and consequently

improvesthe cov erage offered by your network operator. It also offers you

enhancedinternati onal roaming, thanks to the additional networks now avail a-

blewhen you are o ut travelling.

Theswitching between the two systems is doneautomatically and seamlessly,

whichmeans that you can u se your phone without ever having to consider

whichsystem is best at the time. This istaken care of by the networks. How-

ever,you should note that the funct ions offered and the network coverage dif-

ferdependin g on your choice of operator and/or subscription.

Theword “enter” in thi sm anual is used for keying in letters or numbers from

thekeypad.

FaxClass

Standardsfor fax tran smission are set as classes. Class I and II allow data

transferspeeds of betwee n 2400 up to 9600 bps.

Fixed Dialling Numbers

enablesyou to allow on ly numbers beginning with certain pre-defined figures

tobe dialled from yo ur mobile phone. The service is activated by PIN2.

Full Duplex

inhandsfree equipmen t,m eans that both parties on the phone can talk at the

sametime.

GSM900

GSMis the world's most wide ly used digital network, now operating in over

100countries around th e world, particularly in Europe and Asia-Pacific.

Alsoknown as DCS 180 0 or PCN, is a digital network working on a fre-
