DualBand GSM 900/1800
TheEricsson T10 is a dual ba nd phone, which means that you can use your
phoneon two different kinds ofnetworks – the GSM 9 00 and the GSM 1800
(alsocalled PCN or DC S 1800) systems.
Adual band phone that combines thetwo standards can use both frequencies.
Thisincreas es capacity in densely populated urban areas, and consequently
improvesthe cov erage offered by your network operator. It also offers you
enhancedinternati onal roaming, thanks to the additional networks now avail a-
blewhen you are o ut travelling.
Theswitching between the two systems is doneautomatically and seamlessly,
whichmeans that you can u se your phone without ever having to consider
whichsystem is best at the time. This istaken care of by the networks. How-
ever,you should note that the funct ions offered and the network coverage dif-
ferdependin g on your choice of operator and/or subscription.
