How to use your phone for optimum performance with minimum power con-

sumption:

Hold the phone as you would any other telephone. While speaking directly

into the mouthpiece, angle the antenna in a direction up and over your shoul-

der. If the antenna is extendable, it should be extended during a call.

Do not hold the antenna when the phone is IN USE. Holding the antenna

affects call quality, may cause the phone to operate at a higher power level

than needed and shorten talk and standby times.

Antenna Care and Replacement

Do not use the phone with a damaged antenna. Replace a damaged antenna

immediately. Consult your manual tolsee if you may change the antenna your-

self. If so, use only an Ericsson approved antenna. Otherwise, take your phone

to a qualified service centre for repair.i

antenna. Unauthorized antennas, modifica-
