Dongle Cable Connections

The dongle cable, which is shipped with your chassis, allows you to connect directly to the front of your server module, as shown in FIGURE 2-9.

Note – The dongle cable has either three of four connectors. FIGURE 2-9shows a dongle with four connectors.

To connect to the system console:

■Connect a keyboard and mouse to the USB connector.

■Connect a monitor to the VGA connector.

The dongle cable is designed for occasional service use. For routine operation, use the ELOM.
