MAKING CHANGES TO THE ALARM SETUP MENU

The ALARM SETUP menu is separated into two basic sections: SIZE/FPS/QUALITY/AUDIO, and ACTIVATION. Changes made to the SIZE/ FPS/QUALITY/AUDIO window allows you set a schedule and fully customize each camera to record at specific qualities and frame rates of your choice at any time of the day. The ACTIVATION screen allows you to set times that the DVR will monitor the alarm inputs and activate recording (if triggered).

Alarm activated recording can be used in conjunction with timer/motion recording. For example, you can set the DVR to continuously record an emergency exit in your building at a low frame rate (which is configured in the TIMER/ MOTION SETUP menu) and if an alarm activates

recording, you can set the DVR to record at the highest frame rate.

NOTE: The settings and process of changing settings in the ALARM SETUP menu is identical to the settings and process of changing settings in the TIMER/MOTION SETUP menu. For detailed instructions, please refer to pg.65 for more information.
