Checks and Adjustments
1705A Spectrum Monitor 5-17
Adjustment Procedure
The Adjustment Procedurecovers only adjustments. Checks, other than those
that must be made to ensure a step is co mpleted, are in the Performance Check
Procedure.
There areactually two Adjustment Procedures, the short-form version is
provided for those familiarwith the adjustments, while the longer (more
detailed)procedure is provided for those who need it.
Allow 20 minutes of warm-uptime, at normal room temperature (approximately
25°C) beforemaking any adjustments to the instrument.
The Short-Form Adjustment Procedurehas the adjustment steps in the same
order as the longerform of the procedure, so the Short-Form Procedure can be
used as an indexfor the Long Form. Circuit numbers forparts adjusted in the
step arealso included with the step title.
