3-8 1705A Spectrum Monitor
For applications suchas consoles, shown in Figure 3-8, the instrument can be
mounted with front molding flushor protruding from the console. In both cases,
allow approximately 3 inches of rear clearan ce for bnc and power cord connec-
tions.
Requires four 0.156holes below
the 1700F00 cabinet to secure the
instrument to the shelf.
For Flush Front Panel: Cuthole
the same size as the monitor front
molding to allow the monitor front
panel to align with thecustom
panel surface.
For Protruding Front Molding:
Cut hole in panel the same size as th e
opening in the monitor cabinetto al-
low the front-panelmolding to cover
the hole.

Tomount the 1705A safely, attach it to a shelf strong enough to hold its weight,
using the four 0.156-inchdiameter holes in the bottom of the 1700F00 cabinet.
