Column Descriptions
The component circuitnumber appears on the diagrams and circuit board
illustrations, locatedin the diagrams section. Assembly numbers are also marked
on each diagram and circuit board illustration, in the Diagram section and on the
mechanicalexploded views, in the mechanical parts list. The component number
is obtained by adding theassembly number prefix to the circuit number.

SubassemblyNumber
The electricalparts list is arranged by assemblies in numerical sequence (A1,
with its subassemblies and parts, preced es A2, with its subassemblies and parts).
Mechanicalsubparts to the circuit boards are listed in the electrical parts list.
These mechanicalsubparts are listed with their associated electrical part(for
example, fuse holderfollows fuse).
Chassis-mounted partsand cable assemblies have no assembly number prefix
and are located at the end of the electrical parts list.
Indicates part number to be used when ordering replacemen t part from
Tektronix.
Column three (3) indicatesthe serial or assembly number at which the part was
first used. Column four (4) indicates the serialor assembly number at which the
part was removed. No serial or assembly number entered indicates part is good
for all serial numbers.
An item name is separated from the description by a colon (: ). Because of space
limitations, an item name may sometimes appearas incomplete. Use the U.S.
Federal Cataloghandbook H6-1 for further item name identification.
The mechanicalsubparts are shown as *ATTACHED PARTS*/ *END AT-
TACHEDPARTS* or *MOUNTING PARTS*/ *END MOUNTING PARTS* in
column five (5).
Indicatesthe code number of the actual manufacturer of the part. (Code to name
and addresscross reference can be found immediately after this page.)
Indicates actual manufacturers part number.
