You can send information or the event which occurs in the system of this unit to another unit as the message (this is called

“Syslog”). “Syslog” contains information of such as start/shut down of this unit, login, the activity in normal states, the

states of an error. You can specify the level of the message if necessary.

1In the web menu, click “Syslog Setting”.

The “Syslog” window appears.

2Select the desired mode(s) which specifies

the kind of the sending message and click.

You can check marks of multiple modes to send all checked

messages.

•Debug Mode: Send the debug log to confirm the

inner activity when an error occurs.

•Info Mode (default setting): Send the operation

log such as the event or states of the activity of this

unit.

•Notice Mode: Send the details of the operation log

when this unit is in the normal states.

3In the “Syslog Network Output” field, click

“Enable”.

4In the “Syslog Host Address” field, enter the

host IP address of the destination unit.

5Click “Submit”.

The syslog message specified in step 2 is sent to the

host address specified in step 4.
