Basic Operation

The language selected here is also used for various “Mes- sages” shown during operations.

Basic Operation

Selecting Message Language

You can select the desired language of the display messages.

1 Call up the operation display.

[FUNCTION] → [J] UTILITY → TAB [√][®] OWNER

2 Use [4π†]/[5π†] (LANGUAGE) buttons to select the language. 3 Press the [EXIT] button to return to the previous display.

The Messages Shown in the Display

A message (information or conﬁrmation dialog) sometimes appears on the screen to facilitate operation. When the message appears, simply press the appropriate button.

In this example, press the [F] (YES) button to start formatting the USB storage device (USB ﬂash memory, ﬂoppy disk, etc.).
