Instantly setting all parts to the same value

Once you’ve selected a parameter in step 4, you can instantly set the same value to all other parts. To do this, simultaneously hold down one of the [A]–[J] but- tons, and use the [1]–[8] buttons or the DATA ENTRY dial.

Editing the Volume and Tonal Balance

(MIXING CONSOLE)

The Mixing Console gives you intuitive control over aspects of the keyboard parts and Song/Style channels, including volume balance and the timbre of the sounds. It lets you adjust the levels and stereo position (pan) of each Voice to set the optimum balance and stereo image, and lets you set how the effects are applied.

Basic Procedure

1 Press the [MIXING CONSOLE] button to call up the MIXING CON-SOLE display.

2 Use the TAB [][®] buttons to call up the relevant setting display. For information on the available parameters, see the section “Adjustable items (parameters) in the MIXING CONSOLE displays” on page 85.

3 Press the [MIXING CONSOLE] button repeatedly to call up the MIX-ING CONSOLE display for the relevant parts.

The MIXING CONSOLE displays actually consist of several different part displays. The part name is indicated at the top of the display. The various MIXING CONSOLE displays alternate among the following: PANEL PART display STYLE PART display SONG CH 1-8 display SONG CH 9-16 display

4 Press one of the [A]–[J] buttons to select the desired parameter. 5 Use the [1π†]–[8π†] buttons to set the value.
