Media Loading Overview
Inserting Media into the Printer
This section shows how to insert roll or fanfold media into the printer. Fanfold media is loaded the same way as roll media, except the media is stored outside of the printer. See Figure 17 on page 33 for an illustration.
Note • Depending on the media hanger that came with your printer, the size of the media core that can be used may vary. See Media Specifications on page 109 for the core sizes that your printer supports.
Roll Media
To insert roll media, complete these steps:
1.Flip down the media supply guide.
2.Place the roll of media on the media supply hanger. Push the roll as far back as it will go.
3.Flip up the media supply guide, and then slide it in until it touches, but does not restrict, the edge of the roll.
4.Continue with the media loading procedure for the desired print mode.
