Chapter 13 Broadcast Storm Control
The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Active | Select this check box to enable traffic storm control on the Switch. Clear this check |
| box to disable this feature. |

Port | This field displays a port number. |
|
|
* | Settings in this row apply to all ports. |
| Use this row only if you want to make some settings the same for all ports. Use this |
| row first to set the common settings and then make adjustments on a |
| basis. |
| Note: Changes in this row are copied to all the ports as soon as you |
| make them. |
|
|
Active | Select this check box to enable broadcast storm control on the port. Clear this |
| check box to disable the feature. |
|
|
Rate | Specify the traffic a port receives in Kilobits per second (Kbps). |
| If you enter a number between 64 and 1728, the Switch automatically rounds the |
| number down to the nearest multiple of 64. |
| If you enter a number between 1729 and 1999, the rate is fixed at 1792. |
| If you enter a number between 2000 and 103999, the Switch rounds the number |
| down to the nearest multiple of 1000. |
| On a Gigabit Ethernet/ |
| nearest multiple of 8000 for a number between 104000 and 1000000. |

Apply | Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch’s |
