Secure Receive

Deactivating Secure Receive

If you need to deactivate Secure Receive (faxes will be automatically printed when received), follow the steps below.

1Press SECURE , then until

[ACTIVATE SECURE RCV.] appears.

2Press .

3Press to select “NO”.

4Enter the 4-digit secure code.

5Press .

•The display will briefly show [NO SELECTED] and then the date and time.

•If the wrong code is entered,

[WRONG SECURE #] will appear. Go back to Step 4.

Clearing the secure code

To clear the secure code, follow the steps below.

•Secure Receive must be deactivated before you can clear the secure code.

1Press SECURE , then until

[SECURE # CLEAR] appears.

2Press .

3Enter the 4-digit secure code.

4Press .

•The display will briefly show

[CLEARED] and then the date and time.

•If the wrong code is entered,

[WRONG SECURE #] will appear. Go back to Step 3.
