12.1 Types of Report/List

Remarks

 

 

PJL Syntax Error

Cause: A PJL command syntax error has occurred .

 

Treatment: Check the printer settings or correct the PJL command.

 

 

Print LANG Not Installed

Cause: An uninstalled printer language is specified.

 

Treatment: Look at the Printer Settings List to check if the

 

specified printer language is installed.

 

 

Scan Data Repository ERR

Cause: DNS is not set or DNS address is not correctly set.

 

Treatment: Check whether the DNS address is correctly set. Or

 

use the IP address to set the scan data repository address.

 

 

Invalid IP Address-DHCP

Cause: The IP address set at DHCP is no more effective.

Expired

Treatment: Check the DHCP environment or set the IP address at

 

the printer.

 

 

Out of PCL Memory

Cause: As the printer is out of PCL memory, printing cannot be

 

processed.

 

Treatment: Increase the PCL memory setting.

 

 

PCL Command Error

Cause: A PCL command error has occurred.

 

Treatment: Check the print data.

 

 

Max. User Number Exceeded

Cause: It is detected that the user number for Security Print and

 

Sample Set documents has exceeded 200 (maximum).

 

Treatment: Delete documents or users that are no more in use, and

 

then print again.

 

 

Template Syntax ERR

Cause: A job template syntax error for scanning is detected.

 

Treatment: Specify other correct job template or recreate another

 

job template.

 

 

PostScript LANG Interpret

Cause: A PostScript error has occurred.

ERR

Treatment: Check the print data.

 

 

PCL Memory Low, Page

Cause: Lossy compression. Job is very complex, display list

Simplified

takes up too much memory, decomposer will perform lossy

 

compression. Job can still be printed but image cannot be

 

guaranteed.

 

Treatment: Increase the PCL memory and print again.

 

 

The result of the printing is shown on the next page.
