5.3 Installing the Direct Print Utility

5.3.4Setting the Port

To setup the Direct Print Utility port, a printer must be seup first. If no printer has been setup earlier, it is necessary to add one to the local printer port.

The installation procedure of the Direct Print Utility port is as follows:

Procedure

Double-click the "My Computer" icon, followed by the "Printers" icon. Then double- click the icon of the printer for which you will change the port setting. The following window appears.

From the "Printer" menu, click Properties.

A dialog box for setting up the printer properties appears.
