14.2On Using NetWare
This section explains the precautions and limitations of using this printer with NetWare.
14.2.1Setting Printer
∙If there is not enough memory after the port status is set to Enable, the display might display a message of the insufficient memory and the port status might be set to Disable automatically. 1:The following characters cannot be used in the present Netware file server when it is operating in bindery mode but in order to standardize the directory service and the limitations, there is no limitation at the printer without taking into consideration the type of operating mode:
semicolon(;), colon (:), asterisk (*), question mark(?) , comma (,), double quotation ("), greater than/less than symbol (<>), bracket ([ ]), pipe ( )
2:Mathematical symbol (=) and dot (.) cannot be used as context and can be only used as delimiters.
