Windows 2000
This section describes the procedure for installing the printer driver on Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000. A printer driver compatible with the printer must be used for the setup.
6.3.1For Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000
The PC must be installed with TCP/IP protocol (protocol) and Microsoft TCP/IP Printing (service). It is necessary to specify at the Windows NT/Windows 2000 server (workstation), the IP address assigned to the printer using the port settings.

Procedure
Install the printer driver for Windows NT 4.0/Windows 2000 by running the "Setup.exe" program. Click Add Network Port and select the network printer from Network Neighborhood.

For printing from a Windows 95/98/Me client through a Windows NT/
Windows 2000 server (workstation):
To share the Windows 95/98/Me printer driver as an alternate driver in the Windows NT/Windows 2000 server (workstation), install the printer driver for Windows 95/98/Me into the Windows NT/Windows 2000 server (workstation) by Add Printer Wizard.
