Enable software compression Require encrypted password Require data encryption

Record a log file for this connection

5In the Allowed network protocols box, select the TCP/IP option.

6In the Allowed network protocols box, clear the following options:

NetBEUI

IPX/SPC Compatible

7Click the TCP/IP Settings button.

8Select the Specify an IP address option.

9In the IP address box, enter the IP address of CallPilot system, but change the last set of digits to a different number.

For example, if the CallPilot IP address is 192.168.0.1, enter 192.168.0.10.

Note: The IP address you enter here is used to identify your computer during the modem connection. It does not affect the LAN configuration of your computer.

10Clear the following options:

Use IP header compression

Use default gateway on remote network

11Click the OK button.

12Click the OK button.

Creating a Dial-Up Networking connection on Windows NT 4.0

1Click the Start button and then click Programs.

2Click Accessories and then click Dial-Up Networking. The Dial-Up Networking dialog box appears.

3Click the More button and then click Operator assisted or manual dialing.

4Click the New button.

5Enter a name for the CallPilot connection.

6Select the I know all about dial up connections and would prefer to edit the properties directly option.

The Edit Phonebook Entry dialog box appears.
